Anti-Spam Policy

Welcome to our website. This site is maintained as a service to our customers.

Please review our strict policy about spam. The word "messages" (in our Spam Policy) is to include both electronic (i.e., e-mail) or any other form of communications (i.e. snail-mail).

We are fully aware of our responsibility to protect the privacy of all actual and potential visitors to our site. As responsible Internet marketers and providers of products and information (free or otherwise) we maintain a ZERO TOLERANCE Spam Policy. Therefore we continuously work to protect the rights and privacy of all those who visit and use and/or purchase any material and/or products on our websites. We vigorously oppose the sending of unsolicited messages (Spam) and will make every effort to enforce our strict Anti-Spam Policy.

In accordance with our strict Anti-Spam Policy we make every effort (but not a guarantee) to let you know how many emails (or other types of solicitations) you will receive from us directly. As stated in our Privacy Policy we do not share or sell your information to any 3rd party even if said third party collects money for purchases made at our site (in this case CafePress). Any 3rd party solicitation is done by us and through our own mailing system and you will be notified when you make initial contact with us (i.e., signing up for a service we offer) and in the beginning of such a 3rd party solicitation.

We remain vigilant in our procedures and do NOT allow anyone (expressly or implied) to use our products or services for the purpose of sending Spam. We do not allow our products or services to be referenced in Spam. If a customer and/or affiliate sends Spam to anyone, upon proof of that fact, his or her account will be terminated.

Definition of Spam

Spam is simply defined as ANY and ALL unsolicited mail, advertising or any alternative electronic messages. A person's consent to receive information is key. Any promotion, information, or solicitation sent to a person without their DIRECT prior consent is Spam. The following are examples of SPAM. They may not include all the variations or techniques people use to SPAM:

  • A message is considered Spam if it is sent to a person who has previously signed up to receive newsletters, product information, or any other type of message, but later opted-out by written means (i.e., opt-out form, link) indicating to the sender they no longer wish to receive additional messages.
  • Any message that is or has been sent to a person that had or has no prior association with the sender of such message. The key here is the recipient would have had to directly agree to receive such messages from the sender.
  • Any message sent to a person whose address was obtained from an opt-in list and with whom the sender has or had no association with that opt-in list at the time the person signed up to that opt-in list.
  • Any message sent to a person of which the message does not contain a clear method from which the receiver of such message can opt-out of receiving any more messages from the sender.
  • Any message sent or posted via chat rooms, instant messaging systems, newsgroups, message boards, or Usenet.
  • Any message that does not contain or clearly states or shows a valid reply-to address.
  • (Added June 11, 2015)Receiving information from the person or organization you legitimately signed up with that is in no way connected to the type of information you originally requested. We will let you know what type of list and information you are signing up for below the sign-up boxes you fill in on the web page and/or the confirmation email you receive after you submit the sign=up form (see "2-Teir Confirmation System" below).
What is NOT considered Spam?

A message is NOT considered Spam if the person receiving such message directly requested information be sent to them from the sender or the sender's organization, and that receiver of such message has or had not previously requested to be removed from the sender's list of recipients.

2-Teir Confirmation System. As described this 2-tier system is as follows: you fill in a form (such as, email address and first name) to receive information. Before you will receive that information you will receive a follow-up email instructing you to click on the link in the follow-up email to confirm that you want to be added to our list. This allows you a secnd chase not to become part of our list. We always provided an unsubscribe link in every email we send you.

1-Teir System: On very rare occasions we may state in large bold lettering above the sign-up form that once you submit your information you will be added to our list (there is no confirmation email). HOWEVER, we always provided an unsubscribe link in every email we send you.

Steps You Can Take To Avoid and/or Report Spam

If you are unsure as to whether a particular message violates our policy, the message most likely may be considered Spam. If you have any questions about our Anti-Spam Policy, or if you want to report a violation of our policies, please contact us through our Help Desk using the subject "SPAM Question".

How To Be Removed From Our List?

Each message we send out always has a removal link in it. If you do not find a removal link than it would be considered that the message did not originate from us. If you receive such a message without a removal link, please contact us at our Help Desk using the subject "SPAM Question". We will investigate the incident to our best ability thoroughly and respond to you as to what steps we have taken or are able to take.

The United States federal law about Spam

This law is known as the Can-Spam Act. You can find details about this legislation at Can-Spam Act.

How does the Can-Spam Act work with our Anti-Spam Policies?

Any and all messages sent with any mention of or linking in any way to our products, services, offerings, or anything tied to our company must be fully compliant with the Can-Spam Act. These messages must also be totally in compliance with all of our anti-Spam requirements as stated above. Anyone failing to comply with any and/or all our Anti-Spam requirements is in direct violation of our Anti-Spam policies. This also applies even if said message is Can-Spam compliant.

Changes to our Anti-Spam Policy

Periodically we review our SPAM Policies to make sure that they will continue, to the best of our ability, to protect visitors and potential visitors to our sites from being Spammed. Any one wishing to promote our products please check back often to make sure that your marketing methods meet our Anti-Spam requirements.

We may from time to time send our affiliates and partners updates to our Anti-Spam policies. However, if you so choose to promote our services and/or products it is your responsibility to continuously review this Anti-Spam policy and remain compliant.
